Curtain walls
Curtain wall systems are complex assemblies, designed and built as custom solutions for each building. They provide effective protection against the environment and contribute to the thermal and sound insulation of working and living spaces. They can be combined with ventilated facade systems.
Curtain wall types:
- Classic: the aluminium profiles are visible both vertically and horizontally.
- Semi-structural: only an aluminium outline that stiffens the fixing is visible.
- Structural: the facade reads as a continuous glass surface, bonded to the aluminium profiles with structural sealant.
Composite panel (bond) facades
Composite panels (ACM) consist of two outer aluminium skins with a standard thickness of 0.5 mm, bonded to a high-density polyethylene core 3, 4 or 6 mm thick. The resulting material is rigid, light and durable.
Bond cassettes are made by shaping the panels in three dimensions, in a "sandwich" structure.
The visible face has a multi-layer coating, which gives colour stability and long-term durability.

What types of curtain wall do you build?
Classic curtain walls with visible profiles, semi-structural systems with only an aluminium outline visible, and structural systems where the facade reads as continuous glass.
What is a composite (bond) panel made of?
Two 0.5 mm aluminium skins bonded to a high-density polyethylene core of 3, 4 or 6 mm, with a multi-layer coated face.
