1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), also allow information to be kept on your device. In this policy, the term "cookies" covers all of them.

2. How we ask for consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse statistics and marketing cookies. Until you choose, they are not activated. Strictly necessary cookies work without consent, because the website cannot work properly without them.

We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default, storage for statistics and advertising is denied. Without consent, Google tags may only send cookieless signals (no identifiers saved on your device) for aggregate measurement.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

sf_consent_v1 (localStorage)

Keeps your cookie choice so that the banner does not reappear on every page. It stays until you delete it from your browser.

sf_quote_list (localStorage)

Keeps the quote list until you send it. It stays until you delete it from your browser.

This information stays on your device and is sent to us only if you submit a request through the form.

4. Statistics and marketing cookies (with consent only)

The tools below are used only if they are enabled on the website and only after you give your consent. The durations are the typical ones, according to the provider's documentation, and may be changed by the provider.

Google Tag Manager — no cookies of its own

Loads the Google tags above. Until you consent, Google Consent Mode v2 denies storage: Google receives only cookieless signals, without click identifiers.

Google Analytics 4 — _ga, _ga_*

Visit statistics (pages viewed, traffic source), used to improve the website. Typical duration: up to 2 years.

Google Ads — _gcl_*

Measuring conversions from Google ads (for example, a quote request sent after clicking an ad). Typical duration: 90 days.

Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) — _fbp

Measuring and optimising ads on Facebook and Instagram. Typical duration: 90 days.

5. How to change your choice

• The cookie settings link in the footer of every page reopens the banner, so you can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
• In your browser settings you can view, block or delete cookies and the data saved by the website. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect some features, such as the quote list.
• Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
